Weekend games...

First game.. Milan V Bologna, what can I say.. well one thing I can say is, at least they're consistent. Again the same trio score and also in the same order, first Boetang than Robinho and finally Ibrahimovic. Milan are going from strength to strength, yet they have certain weaknesses that can be exploited. For example; Antonnini looks rather uncomfortable in his position and he is a player that likes to bomb it forward hence leaving space for the opposition to set up a quick counter attack. Also Zambrotta is looking like a weak link, he lacks the pace to keep running back and forth. And we all have to agree that Nesta is not getting any younger.... so all in all, while the have a solid offensive line up, their defence is questionable, especially with Silva out.

Juventus V Lazio.. This a game that I am hugely invested in, for obvious reasons. The early goal was imperative, not only to make the game interesting but also to settle the player's nerves ( and mine!) This game was hyped up so much, and so much pressure was put on the sides to win this game, the game didn't disappointed and each player was fighting till the end and wanted to win. And after Lazio conceded the first goal with 90 seconds, Lazio were right back on attack and lo and behold 10 minutes later they got the equalizer. But Juve didn't let this dampen their spirits as they continued to fight- sometime with each other, which was a bit worrying. But right at the death Krasic scored the winner, with a little help from Muslera. He decided to do it himself after trying to feed Iaquinta and Quagliarella and getting no joy. Which brings me to a serous issue, after praising him last week, Iaquinta resorted back to his ways of just standing there and hoping to get a touch without moving!!! It was frustrating to say the least, and while Milan seem to have the perfect trio upfront, Juve are still a work in progress. Krasic may have done it this time but how long can he sustain the attack before he burns out??
