Happy New Year?

Goodbye 2014

This is the time of year when people sit back and reflect on the year gone by, but what actually happened and what they remember can be two different things. It is only human nature to just remember the pleasant things and brush over the serious things that have a real world impact. For example people will remember the legalisation of gay marriage with great fondness and forget about the remarks made by members of UKIP, that blamed this milestone event for the terrible flooding earlier in the year. People will remember the World Cup in Brazil this summer, but they will conveniently forget the protests and anger towards FiFa by the people living there.
People may also remember the strikes by public workers, but what the mainstream media has done so well is, make them seem like the villains of the story and completely glosses over the main issue which is: Austerity doesn’t work all it does is transfer the wealth from the people to the top .1%, in actual fact the debt has increased, this is plain robbery!

To begin with the most urgent issue which is the flooding, people may recall the devastation caused by the floods but many people will still be reluctant in making any connection to climate change. For at least the last five years the summers have shortened while the winters have started to be more and more extreme and longer- this is what climate change is, and because it is happening sooner than expected we will have very little time to adapt, all you have to do is take a look at how this country responded to the events in January!
And what is also rather terrifying is that this backwards thinking government has adopted the dirty and most environmentally damaging method of getting so called clean energy: FRACKING, which the U.S have had for about 10 years and it has proven to increased the rate of health risks and isn’t even worth it in economic sense. And all this talk about it bringing jobs and prosperity to the area is complete horse crap, what they don’t tell you is that they are short term jobs and they will most likely leave you with a hefty cleaning bill.
I mean the very fact that politicians had to give “incentives” (which is just another word for bribery) should tell you how much this enterprise will benefit the ordinary people- Not that much! When the government is more interested in making a profit and helping corporation rather than the ordinary people, then it is time to worry, because the main objective for a corporation is only interested in get a large profit and boosting their share-price for the shareholders, they couldn’t give a damm about the people. And when that starts to happen, the people will be made to suffer.

Talking about the government caring more about corporate power than the people, earlier this year they tried to force Genetically Modified Organisms or GMO’s into the market. Does anyone see a pattern emerging? They tend to follow everything the States are doing, just 10 years later, and again it has been proven that gmo’s lead to long term health risks. But you see, a multinational doesn’t care about long term risks to your health as long as they make the quick profit before anyone notices and by then they’ll do everything they can to dismiss your claim that eating gmo’s caused it.
What can the people do when the people they elect are working against their interests?? Kick them out and make a new government. That’s what a democracy is all about, active participation by the people…. But then I forget.. This isn’t a democracy it’s closer to a Plutocracy/ Neo Feudalism/ Corporatism or just the one that no one wants to admit: Fascism.
The “ powers that be” have already limited our ability to get our voices heard and one of the ways they have done it is by criminalising any and all forms of protest and by limiting our ways of getting information by controlling the media and treating whistle-blowers like traitors, when in actual fact the government has betrayed all of us and they will either use intimidation tactics to try and scare the journalist like Glenn Greenwald or they will send them to prison like the staff from Al Jazeera, who have been in an Egyptian jail for 368 days and counting.
They have even gone as far as trying to control the internet and make it harder for the average Joe to get access to information. Is this the acts of a free and open society?

I haven’t even gone into the failed economics by Reagan and Thatcher whose failed economic policies have led to the disaster of today and the taking away of power by trade unions- to protect the workforce and giving more power to the Banksters( to screw over the workforce!) by giving them free reign to gamble with our life savings and when the crash happens again they can just help themselves to our lifesavings in the form of Bail Ins or the slow annexation of Gaza by Israel and how thousands of lives were lost in the “conflict” in the summer, which was a hugely uneven fight, or the importance of the Scottish Referendum or the ever wise UKIP and their “ Are you here illegally?” campaign, but not to forget the “ homeless spikes” in London… oh how compassionate this country is (!) One positive thing amount this country is that we don’t shoot or choke our own ( mainly black) citizen, unlike the US, but give it time, the police will soon be allowed to use Tasers on the public and don’t forget the water cannons that Boris the clown wants to bring in!
One can always read some of my previous articles to remind yourself about what significant things happened in 2014.( Or you could put aside your prejudices and watch RT and of course the Keisar Report, Thom Hartman or Al Jazeera)

But I leave it in your capable minds to determine what was important in the 12 months gone by…..Here’s to (the imminent crash of) 2015!

Happy New Year?

Extortion by the transportation companies

I still don't understand the reasoning behind the continued price hikes for train tickets, it is called public transport for a reason, how do they expect the public to afford it when you keep raising the price so that only wealthy people can use it, but of course they don't because they have drivers to drive them.

The spokesman for the rail industry keeps saying how they reinvest all the money to provide the traveler with a better travel experience, what a bunch of horse crap! They continue to rise the price so their shareholders get more dividends, They don't care about us, if they did it would have never been privatised.

The service has not improved, you are still met with long delays and when you do finally get on you can hardly breathe let alone get a seat because it is so packed with sweaty people. And that is hardly good for a person with any kind of disability. There is always a gap between the train and platform which sometimes is so big you actually have to hop across! And instead of addressing this issue as a serious fault, they turn it into a money making scheme by selling " mind the gap" t -shirts and mugs for all the tourists who all come to London to get ripped off.

And what should cause great shame but instead brings out great pride is the generally filth and vomit that can be found on display, especially today, when people go to their New Years Eve parties. Fair enough the people what to get so drunk as to erase the past 12 crappy months but do they really need to urinate and vomit in the stations? Don't you people understand that this is how diseases spread, so if the wealthy elites invest some money in simple things like cleaners, you are actually saving yourselves. And as London is supposedly a major tourist hub, what kind of image are you trying to send out?

More importantly than the bad behaviour by the public is the lack of concern from the train companies, why don't they hire extra cleaners during those periods? The answer is fairly obvious to anyone paying attention- It costs money and by hiring more cleaning staff will cut into their profits. You see companies only have loyalty towards profit, anything else is someone else's problem, which is the ordinary people. This isn't even proper capitalism because there is no competition. for the average person public transport is the only way to get into London, the whole system is made in a way to force you into a car, but than parking in London is awful and not to forget the congestion charge. This is just another tax on the poor, and what I don't understand is that in the age of green energy to help save the planet, why are they forcing us into vehicals that is killing the planet??

There has been no investment in public transport/ infrastructure from the days of Thatcher up to the present day of Cameron and it's not as if Labour are any better- they are all a manifestation of the same thing- Elitist snobs or Eton toffs!

" In the age of universal deceit telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act"- George Orwell

It may seem rather cliche' to be quoting Owell, but most of what he has said through his writing has become the norm, but the scariest thing about it is that no one seems all that bothered by it.

In June last year people became aware that the government had been spying on them and yes, there was outrage but there were still those who were nonchalant about it. It's as if people are not able to connect the dots-- constant surveillance-- limits on freedom= a closed society. The media does it's job in downplaying the seriousness of it, but what people tend to forget is what is then done with the information that is gathered, the majority of the time it is used for marketing purposes and flooding you with junk mail and everyone can agree that is just plain irritating! But other times it can be used to persecute a minority of the population i.e all Muslims are potential terrorists.

One simply has to look at the constant bombardment of image on the " news" making the connection of violent crimes to Islam. And this is why having experienced and well trained investigating reporting is needed because they will feel the need to give all the information and not make it so simplistic because life is not simple and it's dangerous to think that way,  unfortunately proper journalism seems to be a dying breed and why are they dying out?? Because governments have started to deem their work as an act of terror, how can keeping the public well informed about issues that effect them an act of terror? The people in power forget about the banks that have and are continuing to commit large amounts of fraud against the people but if you dare to tell the people about the criminal acts the government is committing against the people, you will find your self on some watch-list. That should show you who's really number one in their minds, but the worse thing is that they have the people tricked into believing that this is the way that it should be and it's making me sick!

The people have been duped into believing that politics and foreign policy have no impact on their lives and that if the people want to be a constructive member of society they should spend all their waking hours working for peanuts and then making sure they get into debt because they spent all their peanuts and have nothing left, so in the end they are working until they are dead.

The mainstream media has an obligation to inform the public and not just focus on entertainment and ratings. One of the many problems with the media is, is that they are all run by accounts, and all accountants care about is profit they don't care about the quality or even if it's factually accurate. The news media needs to be have the facts, one would think that would be top priority for any news organisation.. but not for the ones that are in the pockets of big business and government. I mean it doesn't make any sense to " out" your boss, because you'll be out of pocket very soon.

The news media has a new and more lucrative job, and that is to distract the public, so when the City of London is robbing you blind they will hype up a story on immigrants or people on welfare bleeding the government dry, oh no, it has nothing to do with the huge TAXPAYER bailout you gave them, it is our own fault. And when you have so called investigative journalist repeating this horse shit, the people will tend to believe it, and when people are not able to think for themselves or at a higher level than 16 because education has been privatized, people will start to direct there anger at the most vulnerable in the society.

That is why we need mainstream media to be a little brave and ask more question, they are there to get to the truth not to make the interviewee feel comfortable!

Is anyone out there?

I seem to be repeating myself to no avail, but this is worth repeating because everyone is so intent in forgetting.

Steps of a closing society
Step 1: Invoke an external and internal threat

Step 2: Secret prison where torture can take place

Step 3: Develop a paramilitary force

Step 4: Surveil ordinary citizens

Step 5: Infiltrate citizens groups

Step 6: Detain and release ordinary citizens

Step 8: Restrict the press

Step 9: Recast criticism as espionage and dissent as treason

Step 10 Subvert the rule of law.

We can safely conclude that this society has gone through all these steps, so what makes this country a democracy??

Sleep walking into disaster

The only way that anything can get better is if you take a hard look at the problem and admit that you have one, that is why nothing will improve here, because they don't admit that they have a problem and the people are to distracted and drunk to realise that the government has sold their future and has forced them into a life of servitude.

Any fool can see that we are heading into another financial crisis, the people in power are already preparing for it, mind you, they are doing nothing to help us only the very top 1%, now, it was my understanding that this was a  great democracy!  The ass holes only care about their next pay day and in order to do that they have to appease the banksters and the corporations how else are they going to get a job with them afterwards? Just take Tony Blair; he is an ambassador for JP Morgan- one of the major league scuzz balls that contributed to this mess!

Has anyone been charged, and by anyone I mean anyone of any significance. All they've done is changed the law a little so that it looks like the government is trying to help the people when in actual fact they are just making it more easier for the banksters to screw us over by de regulations. What they are doing is punishing the people by cutting public services like The NHS and basically privatising education by making it stupidly expensive, they have managed to do all this by calling it austerity  but what it really should be called is wealth re distribution, they are taking all the money from savers and handing it over to the speculator, the very shmucks that caused this mess, how is that logical?!

The government is punishing the people for wanting free healthcare, decent roads and public transport, for having some financial support when they need it in the form of benefits. They have essentially criminalized the poor and helpless and deified the shmucks in the city of London.
The government has already put things in motion to protect themselves by making  it a criminal act to protest, and don't forget they've brought in the water cannons!

The people will really feel it this time especially when the bankster just take money straight out of our saving accounts.

The main attributes of a democracy is the active participation of the people, how is this a democracy if the government is actively trying to shut down our participation?

Ponder that for a moment.

What's in a name?

" If you call a rose by any other name, wouldn't it smell just as sweet?". Assigning a name to something gives it a particular meaning that can shape a debate, and something that is appalling is suddenly acceptable because of the way that the media and people in power frame it. For example by framing a certain issue by calling it a war, makes it seem like both sides have a chance at winning or defending themselves and causes some people to react differently when you see bodies of women and children. But when you ask more questions and start to understand that one side has a professional army while the other has a "makeshift military", you see it for what it is, an extermination. And another word that has become more and more acceptable is " collateral damage" which is the killing of civilians, which should never be an acceptable cost!

Another term that has always confused me is the phrase friendly fire  which brings up an image of something more innocent than accidentally shooting my colleague  it should be called an accidental shooting, but it isn't because they don't want to admit to people that they are so incompetence that they shoot their own people, this would cause them to truly question their methods.

More recently the term Enhanced Interrogation Technique has been used instead of calling it what it is- Torture. You see, they're smart, because they know they can get away with calling it this and they have been getting away with it for over 13 years! And also by calling it an interrogation technique they some how make it perfectly legal to strip someone naked and have him chained to the floor, forget the fact that it doesn't work and all it is really doing is making sure that a large group of people hate you.

I recently read that the UK wants this report and their activities to remain secret (most likely), which just shows me how much of a sheep this government is, that they will do anything the US demands of them and the fact that they want to hide it from the public tells me something else, they want to be able to continue doing these atrocious crimes against humanity but still lat claim to being the moral beacon of the world, which just goes to show they are even worse than the US!

Let's us not forget the role the media plays in all this, they create a narrative and plant the phrases so the public just goes along with it not realizing that these thought are not their own, but of the morons in charge, but I have to to admit that if you just accept what is being told to you though the media, there is something wrong with that too, because let's not forget that the mainstre
am media is just a mouthpiece for the so- called ruling class.

Observation is a powerful tool

Eyes closed, mouth shut..

Almost everyone in this country is guilty of this. People are always  going on about how we have freedom unlike countries like North Korea and China, but are we really? We are constantly under surveillance, GCHQ is calling people who want privacy terrorist and are right to say and do what we want is being diminished as a result. People in those countries know they are not free unlike here where they pretend you are free, the only freedom we have here is the freedom to starve to death or the freedom to get into more debt.

This government is eroding all of our freedoms and you know what is really aggravating?? We're letting them, instead of blaming the people responsible we're to busy blaming each other and the poor migrants are getting the brunt of the abuse.

What is even more disturbing I have found about certain people, is the casual response to the spying scandal. People are brainwashed into believing that it's not a big deal that stranger know everything about us when in fact it is a major sign of a closing society and a move towards Fascism. Just the idea that you may be  under surveillance is enough to restrict your freedom to move or even talk about certain things and theses agencies are saying they are doing it to keep us safe- safe from what?? Why would our government want to keep us in a constant state of fear? The answer is rather simple, they know people tend to do what they want if you say you'll keep them safe, even if in all actuality your just turning them into slaves- because people are stupid when they're afraid.
All this spying did nothing to protect us from the banksters that raped the entire country. GCHQ/ NSA just keeping pushing this idea that we are under constant threat, so that they have a greater excuse to restrict us, they have even gone after all the internet companies calling them aides to terrorist just because they want to protect our privacy.

The future that we all feared in all the 80's sci fi movies are here already...

Frack You Cameron!

The Prime Minister of the UK is such an ass it laughable, he thinks by getting out of the EU and isolating us is what's good for the people. That is all complete BS! He just doesn't want to abide by the laws of the European courts, laws that cover basic human rights, so he is not doing this for the people, he is doing this so that he can screw the people and not be called into account for his abuses!

The common person will not think of this, they will believe leaving is good because all the immigrants will get kicked out and as  a random women said on BBC "News" she thinks that it is the fault of the immigrant that she has a long waiting time when it comes to the NHS, someone should tell her the reason she has to wait a long time to be seen by a doctor is not the fault of the immigrant but the small fact that your FRACKING Government has slashed funding to everything in the public sector.

All this hatred towards immigrants just shows how racists this country really is, they hate anything that is slightly different to them and that is also why this country will never progress in anyway, because they refuse to evolve and learn. Do they not realise that half the football and Olympic team are full of people whose parent's were migrants??  Maybe that should tell you something, immigration has helped this country in a lot of ways for example many of the nurses and carers are from Eastern Europe, these are people who look after the most vulnerable in society because you are either too lazy or arrogant to do so.

The flip-side to this is that all those people who are living their " twilight" years in Spain or The south of France will be boomeranged back here, and how is an already crumbling NHS going to deal with an influx in elderly people?

People already complain that it's so expensive to travel, how are you all going to deal with having to pay for a visa every time you want to go clubbing in Spain or Greece? There will no longer be a thing as a "cheap flight" anymore and what about all the food we import from Europe, be prepared for you shopping bill to be triple what it used to be.

So to end if you want anything of quality be prepared to pay an arm and a leg!

By the way David, if you leave the EU  be prepared to say goodbye to all those giant corporations that are "helping" you stay at 10  Downing Street and have probably contributed to all you plush houses and help fund all your other propaganda campaigns!

It's happening

Just because it might be sunny where you are doesn't mean it's not here, for God's sake it's November and it's over 15 degree! Something is very wrong and the fact that it is not being covered in depth just goes to show how pathetic our news media is.

Wednesday 22 October 2014

Manic Media!!

Has anyone noticed how the news media is always in a panic and frenzy, especially the mainstream news? I certainly have and that is exactly why I look to all different kinds of news, not just the channels that I agree with- but you see not everyone does this and this is why this kind of " reporting" can be dangerous to society, even more dangerous than any terror threat or disease can have.

The news media is very clever at distracting the public to real threats like the abuse of power by governments: mass surveillance, climate change and the fact that society is becoming increasingly into 2 major categories- the haves and have nots. They dedicate maybe the last minutes to issues of real importance and even when the do they try to trivialize and make it seem unimportant or they try and make really complicated issues simple by portraying one group of people as the "bad" guys and the others as good, but you see life just isn't that simple and our news media shouldn't pretend it is. Mainstream media are particularly guilty of playing on our fears and there's a very simple reason for this- people are more likely to agree to something they might regret at a later date if they think it might help them now, and politicians play to this and use our fears to stay in power.

Does anyone remember the horsemeat scandal and how everyone was just shrugging it off and not realizing that if they don't check to see if it's beef.... what  else are they neglecting to check? In many cultures they do eat horse but they KNOW they are eating horse and it's probably been checked for any kind of disease- can you be sure that Tesco or Iceland checked for these? It's not an accident that nearly all the reporting conveniently left this out!  The early 90's Show about a Canadian Mountie in Chicago called Due South dedicated a storyline to this exact issue and what it shows is corruption and collusion and ultimately the harm this can do to people
.

Sometime the mainstream news can do an adequate job when covering certain issue like the NSA scandal, but again the mainsteam media neglects to tell you salient parts of the story and they quickly try their best to dismiss any real concerns. They forget to tell you the dangers of this type of mass surveillance and they neglect to tell you that the UK is just as bad if not worse, and the try everything to destroy the credit of the person who brought this to light and make the story more about him and forgetting the fact that the government is breaking the law.

Leaving the worst reported issue but ultimately the most dangerous for last: CLIMATE CHANGE. The issue gets little coverage in the mainstream news despite the fact that it is the most pressing issue for humankind. People are so casual in the way the talk about it and many people still deny that it is a cause for concern despite the fact that people around the world are suffering from its effect which are: draughts, flooding, hurricanes and tornadoes- but unless it happens in your back yard no one cares! Early this year when the UK was the victim of flooding, there was a flurry of documentaries and news reports about the issue and then they dies down, I guess people were more interested in the Kardashians than the fate of the only home we got!

Planet Earth is a living organism that is only habitable by us because of a delicate balance of eco- systems. But people refuse to think of it like that instead they are continuing to pollute the Earth and are continuing to FRACK the Earth looking for energy. Humanity is only looking out for the short term gains they don't give a thought to all the negative effects they are having on this planet and other species- people are so selfish! People have forgotten about the disastrous oil spill in 2010 by BP or the devastating effects that the people of Japan are still facing but because the "news" have stopped reporting on it people have forgotten about it.

And that is why it is so important for the news media to remain the news media and not be so focused on being entertaining and remained focused on the facts, and the facts are that the world is in dire straights, from rampant inequality to the rise of the far right and the flagrant corruption in our societies Things are looking grim.. but they can be fixed but only when tou all acknowledge there's a problem in the first place and that will not happen unless the news media stops censoring information.

Thursday 9 October 2014

Speak your mind...

.... If you're of a brown complexion and/you just happen to be a Muslim, apparently it's a crime! What it is is institutionalized racism, you just have to turn on your TV- it's everywhere! It's in " popular TV show like " Homeland" which is just pure propaganda, but, you see you have to have a degree of intelligence to see this, and well must people have trouble separating fact from fiction. And the most disturbing part is that the government and the media are fostering this fear and speculation in the society, and it is completely irresponsible! Just look at the recent new, a medical student tweeted something that is fairly obvious if you watch the news but because he happened to be Muslim he was arrested as a terror suspect. Does anyone else feel a little concerned about where this is heading? What are they going to have next- The Thought Police?!

Tuesday 7 October 2014

Education....

..... Is vital for the development and survival of a society.

The selfish society...

….. Is it really something to aspire to? Does it make you a happier person? The answer to both these questions is “no”, yet countries like the US and UK have foster a climate based on what’s good for the individual since the days of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan and are either of these countries look like they are doing well? And I answer… NO! How is it even remotely good for an individual to think pure about themselves? How would a society even function? And is it a society that people what to be part of?

Yet the supposed civilized countries are trying to push this kind of thinking onto everyone. Are we really going to listen to these people that have put profit over a person’s health, education, their ability to get from one place to another and even the welfare system, a system that is supposed to help the most vulnerable people in the society? Do we really want to be a world where it is normal to let people die just because they can’t pay the bill?

Neoliberalism has ruined the west, the financial crisis of 08 didn’t just happen overnight, it happened through the deregulation of corporations and banks and by squeezing the middle class dry by slowly and methodically taking away their ability to be heard. Trade Unions have lost their ability to make any kind of significant change that would benefit the working Joe, the workplace has become more about screwing each other over and making sure they mess up than helping each other, this is in no small part to the "people upstairs" that have made it so we believe that helping people is a sign of weakness. The powers that be have given big business more power to do whatever they have to do in order to get more profit, and if that means they have to sacrifice quality and YOUR safety..so be it! Neoliberalism is basically just another word for fascism.

I know people don’t want to hear it but it’s true, when your own government cares about the well- being of a multi- million pound company over it’s own citizens, when a government would rather have the people work to death than invest in their health and well- being.. well, that’s exactly where we are. These countries keep preaching that this is the only way- only way for them to make a shed load of cash maybe but not for us to live happy and fulfilled lives. The UK and US Governments are emblematic of the selfish society, why can’t we be more like the Danes that have been proven to be the happiest society- and why? Because they have a Social Democratic government.

Money over Mankind?

Again there was a protest march in London with thousands people that doesn't get the air time on mainstream media that it deserves. People all over the world are trying to get a message out to the people and the message is that there is a greater threat to mankind than ISIL and it is Climate Change. Whether you want to believe it or not, it is our fault it is happening so fast and we will not be able to stop it all we can do is try to put a band aid on it, but the first thing that we still have to do is to convince some people that we have a problem!

As sad and angry that it makes me there are still people who doubt that it is a bad thing!(mostly Americans and Fox so called news!) The media has a lot to do with this perception and you know why???? Because many of them are owned by big oil, so they are not exactly going to bad mouth the people who are paying their wages! It saddens me when the need for corporate profits is valued over our survival. Some very naive people may claim that it natural for some places to have violent storms while other places are suffering from droughts and forest fires, it may be natural to have them but the sheer amount is extreme and it is happening far to quickly for us to adapt.

The people who bemoan that it is natural I would tell them that growing old and getting wrinkles is "natural", so why do they spend all there time and money trying to stop that, but above all... why do the corporation spend millions in this industry? The very simple answer is money. There is more money to be made in trying to keep us looking young than trying to save the planet.

The really sad thing is that the poorer countries will suffer the brunt of it. low lying countries like Bangladesh etc especially from rising sea levels. And what do you think droughts will do to all the crops?? We will face having to pay a higher and higher amount for the most basic items. People watch too many movies, they think it will be dramatic and happen immediately, will will start to die off slowly because we can't afford to heat our homes or buy food and anyone who has been paying attention will see the amount of storms and unpredictable weather has been going on for at least the last 10-15 years.

The sad thing is, that until it affects the very rich ( the tory toffs!) the rest of us will be forced to suffer the affects of Climate Change. And just because it may be nice and warm where you are now, doesn't mean it's not happening and that's also why it's called GLOBAL WARMING!

Why is it that when the bankers committed huge amounts of fraud ( and are still!) they get a government handout ASAP but when the people are ultimately going to suffer they have no money to give, if anything they have actually been cutting public funding for the last 30 years! That should tell you how much of a priority the people are to the government, they just care about one thing...MONEY and doesn't that mean this society is less of a democracy and is leaning more to Fascism??

Saturday 20 September 2014

Enough said!

Back to the Past

It truly amazes me when I see people all puffed up and proud of this shithole of a country- most of the Scots knew that's why they wanted to leave!

There was an article I read once that noted that Britain was getting more and more like Downturn Abbey! Now this is not something a supposed developed country wants to aspire to, do you really want to regress in an age where there were the super rich and the rest of us were just servants getting raped and constantly abused and living in the gutters and no one ever giving a damm  about your well being- oh wait a second, that how it is here! People are just not paying attention, they get easily distracted and caught up in the frenzy whipped up by the media that they don't realise that they have returned to Victorian Britain!

Just take this Scottish Vote for independence as an example of the mainstream media taking an issue and whipping everyone into a frenzy while the Tory scum have sneaked in a law that basically kills off free speech by criminalizing dissent, this is a major step in a closing society- just read my previous posts.

I urge people to wake up to the huge step back we have all just allowed to happen... because you were all so distracted-and drunk!

Saturday 13 September 2014

Sound familiar?!!!

Profits AND NOTHING ELSE!

Has anyone really taken the time to really think about where we are heading as a society, it doesn't take a genius to understand that profit is more important than the people, just try and remember what happened as soon as the banks were beginning to wobble.... the were given a Government handouts while we were forced to deal with a swathe of austerity measures.

What was basically done was a transfer of wealth to the top while the rest of us were getting kicked out of our homes and finding it increasingly hard to just survive! And the saddest part about this is that they have diverted the blame to the people, so while we fight among ourselves they are probably relaxing on a beach somewhere! How is this fair or how can this country call itself Great when they are turning it into the new third world.

Just take a look at who is getting their funding slashed... Teachers, The NHS, Social services and Welfare programs so basically anything that can help the people. Even the States are starting to move towards a more affordable healthcare for everyone, we are starting to morph into what they were like 10 years later!!

Public services should remain public and not be for profit. I see the healthcare in the States might be improving ( slowly) but I see their education system is just as frakked up! They have schools that sole objective is profit and that means that the quality of education goes down because it doesn't make any business sense to spend all that money on getting qualified teachers, they will instead use that money on marketing to trick more people to join! When you only care about the " bottom line" anything that may cause it to shrink like qualification or proper safety checks or quality control will go out the window, just take a look at a certain car company that was so cheap to fix the problem in the first place they killed 13 people.

The people should stand together and save our Public services from the clutches of corporate interest!
