Slavery in the 21st Century....

.... Working, being in constant servitude to another, whatever you call it, through suicide or starvation the end results the same: Dead or wishing you were.
Noam Chomsky once pointed out the difference between slavery and employment and came to the conclusion that the difference was that one was only meant to be temporary. Well, you can't afford to stop working nowadays, what does that tell you?

The Long Con

This consists of having an idea but convincing people they came up with it first, and only at the very end do you realize you've been ripped off, and by then the con man is long gone.

The sad thing about this society is, they haven't a clue that they've been ripped off they're too busy blaming each other and demonizing the most vulnerable people in society.

I believe that if this election had actually been about the issues instead of trying to scare people by saying things like " radical Islam" or the Scottish or immigrants are going to over run the country, the result may be different.. that is my hope at least (!) But because people don't react rationally when they are afraid, they voted Tory.

People should understand and be ready for the dire consequences of this mistake, it has already started, within days of his re- election he ( who shall not be named) decided he was going to slash child benefit, put more restrictions on other forms of benefits, make it harder for people to strike or protest but he' going to add more protection for the banks. Does anyone out there see anything pecuiliar about this?! He is basically proposing that the institutions that are continuing to screw us over be allowed to do so unimpeded and we can't complain or even discuss the injustice of it!

Not only does he want to stop us from debating this immoral government but he also wants to expand their ability to snoop on us and he is trying to get rid of our Human Rights by "reforming" them and calling it the bill of rights, and guess what, all it's going to contain is one sentence that declares if you have no money, you have no rights!

He is also making it harder to get into higher education by raising tuition fees again! It's as though he's been looking across the pond and saying to him that that looks great, like every third world country it may be great for the rich but look at the millions of homeless/ starving/ uneducated and overworked. But he's shut his eyes to all that and all he sees are the Bentley's, high rises, gated communities with their manicured lawns and movie stars, but these are not even close to the average American, they are actually fighting for free college, the eradication of GMOS, money out of politic, affordable healthcare and the reigning in on big multinational- we are going in the opposite direction to this, but the saddest part is, that over here, the population is blind to this and they believe that we are still the bright beacon of civilization and all should try and be more like us.

A civil society is one that is fair and just to all its citizens, not just the very wealthy, but people won't accept it, they actually believe that if they are suffering it's all their own doing and it has nothing to do with the fact that the system has been rigged so all you can do is lose and lose big.

The mainstream media has also been doing its best to keep you in the dark and blaming those less fortunate than you for all of your problems. Whereas before the news was meant to inform you, now all it does is distract you from the real causes of all your problems.

I urge you all to wise up about all the injustices that have come rushing to the forefront because to voted conservative and ask yourself, will you vote Tory in the next election?

Post Demo-Britain

It has most certainly arrived, when a society is as unequal as this one.. Democracy has been flung aside. The most insidious thing this " government" has done is to assign the blame to the most vulnerable people in the society, and the saddest thing is, it's working! Smart people I know have come to believe that it is acceptable to cut people's meager benefits while the financial mafia continues to screw us over. This has became the case with everyone, and it is hugely down to the way the mainstream media decides to focus on some things and not the other, and the reason for this distortion of the truth, is that big money has priority over everyone else's well being.

The tories have shown how they care more about the top 1% than the rest of us, what do think austerity is??? It is the relocation of wealth from the people to the big corporations. And anyone who speaks out against this blatant injustice will be bullied and even prosecuted. Cameron has even let slip that just following the law is not enough, just having sympathy or understanding towards any group that they don't support will be enough for them to put you on a "list" And don't forget that right after he was re- elected he has stared working on repelling the Human Rights and curbing the power to go on strike or even protest.

Democracy, what democracy??!!

Llorente to Arsenal, Vidal to Liverpool?

This post may seem a little out of character but it has to be said- the transfer merry go round has already started and it has me baffled. Firstly the season isn't over yet and it seems to be in bad taste to start poaching the players now, and secondly, Juve's success has primarily been because they are a fairly stable club, and what do you think will happen when you tinker too much?

I sort of understand why they might be thinking of letting Fernando go, he hasn't really set the league on fire with his goals, but there is more to his game that being a target man. He has forged a strong partnership with Tevez and is able to assist his team mates and he is always willing to track back and help the defense. He is hardworking and doesn't go off in a strop whenever he gets subbed. But he must appreciate that he currently does start many game but with Dybyla coming, that might change.

That is on the field, off the field I hear he is a leader to the younger players and a great personality in the dressing room. And when you have a dressing room full of talented youngsters, it is always a plus to have someone who can reel you in, of course we have Buffon who is THE symbol of Juventus but it is a plus to have someone who speaks Spanish for the young " whipper snapper" Morata. From a Purely financial standpoint " The Lion King" does have a hefty wage bill and we don't know whether he will accept a wage cut.

The rumours surround Arturo Vidal I'm having a harder time reconciling. I understand that he has not scored as many goals as last season but that is partly due to the fact that he had a major injury before the World Cup and still went to the summer competition. He is a major link in a wonderful midfield. He is strong and extremely skillful and he adds another dimension to your game.

All I'm saying is, think hard before you decide because the consequences may be hard to handle!

A little thing to think about...

Why is David making it harder for the people to get their voices hear?? Could it be that he doesn't want to be slowed down by the complaints of the "little people", that's everyone! So how is the UK any different from countries like Saudi Arabia and North Korea??? NOTHING.

What we have become

Worked to death

More and more people suffer from anxiety and mental health problems, this anxiety is over whether or not they will remain employed. The geniuses may think that this will mean you will get a more dedicated workforce but that's not always the case. Having this constant fear of losing your job will ultimately lead to stress and other forms of anxiety and will not lead to higher productivity- actually the opposite will occur.

People will be afraid to take time off work when they become ill or have some personal problem- just ask the people at German Wings. I see that tragedy and it makes me very sad, probably because because depression like that doesn't just happen overnight. it happens over years of being ignored, by him and his "masters", he would ignore it because he doesn't want to take time off because he might lose his job and his employers are thinking about the costs of letting an employee taking time off'

Is this really the world we want, a world where the bottom line is worth more than the human cost. We are becoming more and more like the States it'ts scary! Over there they don't even have paid maternity leave, the women would have to take it out of their holidays or sick day- so they will maybe get a month off after giving birth!!! If we're not careful the tories will try to get away with giving us as little as possible, even if it kills us!

Cuts, cuts and more cuts!

The Tories have been in power for less than a week and they have already started with the cuts. They spent the last 5 years cutting the budget for the NHS, education and basically anything that might benefit us and making it even easier for the financial sector to screw us over. Whomever voted for another 5 years of the conservative government, really didn't care what happens to this country.

Any working class person that did vote for the was obvious delusional, I can understand why the rich voted for them, " all toffs stick together", but for a sane member of the public to do so is a tragedy.
Like I said before they have already started cutting, and where are they started.... cutting benefits for the most vulnerable of society and will continue to demonize the poor. But where is the common sense or the compassion in regards to the public??? They just take the media for their word and get whipped up so easily and start blaming the wrong people- the financialisation of everything is the problem  and the banksters are the cancer at the heart of it.

But the tories will have you blame people on welfare and the current favourite: immigrants. They do all this in order to keep you distracted while they remove rights for workers and even try to weasel their way out of obeying current human rights!! The tories are going to bring about another financial crash, one major reason is because they have not learnt the lessons of the previous one (s) and are repeating the same mistake as before just under a slightly different name.

I urge the public to pay attention at what the tories are actually DOING rather than what they are saying, if you sit down put down your iphone- you'll notice the difference.

I fear that people will start to pay attention far too late when the damage is done and there is no way left to fix it.

Corporatism V Fascism- What's the difference?

I may just be overly dramatic, but there is no difference, they both are about de- humanizing people and turning them into tools to do simple tasks and that's it, no higher thinking involved.
Let me explain further, Corporatism is the Government and big business working together to achieve a common goal ( make money) and Fascism is the Government working with big business to achieve a common goal- You see, there is no frakking difference! Are you beginning to understand?? The people ( that's you and me) get exploited because all a corporation cares about is the bottom line, they don't care about the human cost.

Let me make it even clearer, the following is a test to check for mental disorder that I can guarantee that every corporation will be able to check.

Personality Diagnostic Checklist

  1. Callus unconcern for the feeling if others
  2. Incapable of maintaining enduring relationships
  3. Reckless disregard for the safety of others, if they have to skimp out on health and safety to increase their portfolio, that's exactly what they'll do
  4. Deceitfulness- repeated lying and conning others for profit
  5. Incapacity to experience guilt- they will even get you to turn on each other- sound familiar??
  6. Failure to conform to lawful behavior-  the entire city of london is guilty of this!
You see people, if the Government is aligning itself with these people than who is on our side? Definitely not the Tories!

Why is this acceptable?

Saturday 9 May 2015

I may be repeating myself but....

.... It bears   repeating.  Stages of a closing society

Step 1, Invoke an external and external threat- ISIS, Boka Haram. Muslims, Immigrants, take your pick! They want us to be scared so that they can continues doing what they want unimpeded.

Step 2, Secret prisons where torture takes place- Anyone who pays attention to Foreign policy will know this.

Step 3, Develop a paramilitary force- have you seen the police during demonstrations and there are also plans to arm them.

Step 4, Spying on ordinary citizens- If you have forgotten you're beyond help!

Step 5, Infiltrate citizens group- they do this so they can make them seem a bigger threat in the eyes of the media, which is the case!

Step 6, Detain and release ordinary citizens- does anyone remember Davis Miranda??

Step 7, Target key individuals- The entire Muslim community!

Step 8, Restrict the press- have you seen the mainstream news media, it's a joke! And outlets that are balanced and talk about issues in depth like Al jazeera are put on the terrorist watch list or put in jail.

Step 9, Recast criticism as espionage and dissent as treason- this is the very reason why this country is so sheepish.

Step 10, Subvert the rule of law- Do you see any top level bankers going to jail?? No, they get to retire with their enormous pay and equally enormous bonuses!

Racism is gone.. REALLY??!!

Just the idea that racism is a thing of the past makes me laugh, I mean has anyone taken a real hard look around them??

It starts of with..yes,you guessed it, movies and television programs. The movie and television industry is all about getting ratings, so they are obviously going to produce something that is going to be an instant hit, and what's a hit at the moment? All brown people are the enemy, so any film that has a terror theme in it will have some brown people in it, it's probably good for these young actors to get work but it does nothing but build up this negative stereotype.

But the reason as to why this theme is so popular is because the "news" media can't stop reporting violent crimes and making the links to brown people and Islam. Weak minded people will start to suffer from, what I like to call, the " echo effect", after hearing rumours and speculation for so long and continuously, they will start to believe it and that can only have a negative effect for the society.

It is completely irresponsible for the news media or any type of media to encourage and even help foster violence towards any group, but they do and you know why?? Because they are sure to make a shed-load of cash, is this really the type of society we want, a society that is ready to exploit your fears for profit- well if you all ignore this trade deal-TTIP, than that is exactly what we;ll get ( please read more about TTIP and do what you can to stop it.)

All of these fears about "the other" is made worse by people in power. People like politicians have a moral obligation to maintain good relations in the community, well that doesn't seem to be happening with the whole fairy tale that Nigel Farage and everyone else running for PM, they all have made immigration a talking point and a rather negative one! They have spun this myth that immigrants are scrounger and just come to the UK to use the NHS! Tell me, who picks a country solely on this? Many of the people working in the NHS were immigrants at one time and nearly all of them work at least 2 jobs and have never been on benefits. The mainstream media may find an obscure example and make sure everyone focuses on that for weeks!

Many UK citizens are the one living on benefits and council houses but hey, it's alright for us but not the foreigner. where is your compassion?!!

This way of thinking didn't occur overnight it is learned, but it can also be unlearned.

I still have a flicker of hope that people still have common sense and can see through all the propaganda- but it's fading fast!

Sunday 3 May 2015

Let's keep things simple....

... This shouldn't be the case, but you see it happening everywhere.
From movies to the news, everything is the simplest it can possible be, but this shouldn't be the case. You may think that movies are pure entertainment and thus have no real influence on our minds, well you'd be wrong. Most people spend a lot of time watching movies, and by being exposed to that type of media will inevitable have subtle influences on the way you perceive the world around you, and if this starts simplify complex story-lines you will find it harder to understand complex issues like politics and the environment. Your brain is a muscle and like every muscle if you stop using it, it will become flabby and useless and being exposed to things that require no higher thinking is not good.

The mainstream news has pounced on this and has turned complex issue like wars and terrorism and made them simple by just calling the evil and we're the heroes... but you see people life isn't that simple and it is irresponsible for them to do so, as we see now people have started to equate all brown people with fanatic and killers. In my opinion the "news" media are the one who are the fanatic, they see things as one of two way-" you're either with us or against us" but the fact is, the whole story is often more complicated than that and when the media does this simple way of reporting it looks more like propaganda than news.

Even politicians have been reduced to soundbites and catchphrase but none of them have any real substance and for a potential leader I would rather have someone who can properly articulate his plans rather than a bumper sticker leader. But because people have been conditioned over the years to pay attention to whomever has the catchiest catchphrase, getting someone with intelligence and someone with a viable plan for the country is looking less likely.

People should be aware that the mere fact that we are able to understand complex ideas, is what separates us from animals, so tell me, what does that mean about us??
