The transfer merry go round..

So many player are being offloaded, and it seems as though they have all decided to go at the sametime! Amauri to Parma, Legrottaglie to Milan, Matri to Juventus, Pazzini to Inter, it's alot to keep straight!

Amauri was having an awful time at Juve that was clear and he hadn't scored in almost 18 months. That can play very heavily on a player, many " fans" don't appreciate this, but if you haven't scored in so long your confidence will be extremely low and you'll fall prey to the hurtful words of the media. The media has a way of building up a player to a God like status and just as quickly tearing him down. And this can hurt a player even more when they are in a goal drought like Amauri. Parma does have a way of revitalising players, just look at Herman Crespo. Amauri will be in good company, as he will have Giovinco, Candreva and Palladino, all former Juve players who have since got more playing time and have become an important fixture in the side.

I am rather surprised about the treatment that Legrottaglie has received from the Bianconeri. He has been with the club since 2003 with some loan deals in between, but he is a central defender, and a rather tall one! And considering how Juve have been letting in the goals lately, one would have hoped that they kept him. But for a long time now Juve have preferred the partnership of Bonucci and Chiellini to the veteran and he has thusly become a benchwarmer. But in a defensive position, having experience in vital and may even trump youth, as was made evident by last weekends game against Udinese where Bonucci was given a straight red and misses the next match.

As a devoted Juventus fan I can only hope and pray that the Bazargli and Matri can find their feet fast and put Juve back on track.
