Many player are quickly labeled as "lazy" or "childish" or a waste of money when they don't perform in the EPL, but then they come to Italy and they blossom. Players like Robinho and Aquilani. Robinho was classed as a lazy player who didn't want to work for the team and he massively under performed, but at AC Milan he is seen working hard for the team, scoring goals and more importantly helping his teammates score.... and you want to know why..... He is happier in Italy, and it's not hard to see why.
Italy is a beautiful country, where people take pride in themselves and where they live and above all the weather is always nice. Know I know Milan has similar weather to England, but one thing it has in abundance is...GLAMOUR. And with all the money that the EPL have, they lack this and this might be why Davide Silva of Man City is also unhappy.. two players leave from the same club- Robinho was also at Man City- this is no coincidence.
Another player who has maybe not thrived at Italy, but he has certainly improved is Alberto Aquilani. He is currently on loan at Juve from Liverpool. Apparently Liverpool want him back....But here's the deal..he doesn't want to return. But the real sad thing is that Juve might not be able to pay the £11 mill for him. The price does seem excessive and they may not be able to keep hold of him, but if he does return to England and his performance does start to decline because he is unhappy- what then?
