... The return of Buffon is suddenly not as simple as once thought. Marco Storari has done an excellent job between the sticks and does not deserve to be benched.. however Buffon is already established as a great player and a solid fan favourite, but he has been out of action for seven months. There lies the dilemma that Gigi Del Neri must face. Goalkeepers are largely different than outfield players, one cannot simply decide to change there keeper half way through a game, like you would do to a normal player. Yet Buffon has been out for 7 months, like I mentioned before, so it might be good practice to bring him out slowly for him to get familiar with everything. He is rumoured to be playing in the game against Bari, this could be the perfect opportunity to establish himself as a great.
You do have to feel sorry for storari, after putting in great performances that made people think that Juve could once again be title contenders- to being left out of the side. My hope is that Del Neri finds a way to keep both keepers happy but that may be the case in the ideal world, but in the ruthless game of football, anything goes... and it may well be storari.
