Inception...

What can be said about maybe the most anticipated summer movie but..WOW...

A truly unique idea, security for your dreams. Ultimately a heist movie but instead of stealing something they implant an idea that will be of great benefit to them. Leonardo Di Caprio was sublime, his portrayal of a char actor who was truly obsessed and struggling with guilt of what he had done was something that made you feel empathy for the character. Ellen Page was an interesting choice, who would've expected the girl from Juno would be a good side-kick- not annoying at all! Many of the cast members had worked together on Christopher Nolan's Batman, and the combination worked well as the actors gave a terrific performance. The most surprising was the performance of Ken Watanabe, he played the character as being charming and powerful, you almost wanted him and Leo's character to be best friends! Joseph- Gordon-Lewitt was another surprise, he showed intelligence, action and provided some humour to break up the intensity of the scenes.

The action pieces were all spectacular and the slow motion was done with great effect. The added time element made you feel the intensity and drive of the movie. This is a movie that you should watch twice and believe me you wont regret it, the thing about Nolan is that he doesn't just churn out popcorn movies but intelligent and thought provoking films. And the ending was good as it left you questioning whether or not it was a happy ending, don't want to say anything else or I might accidentally give away the ending.
An instant classic! 5 out of 5
