Milan V Juventus- Coppa Italia semi- final pt 1

What a game and what a time to score your first goal, make that two, for Juventus!! Martin Caceres scores a brace to help Juve to the final, and maybe this time Juve will complete his move to Turin and not return him to sender like they did in the 09/10 season. Antonio Conte should be very pleased, as he reigns unbeaten and by his reaction to the second goal, you could see how much it meant to him.

It was feared that this game would be dull and that both team would just settle for a draw... and I tell you they were wrong! This was an open and free flowing game with limited interruptions, that is only clumsy tackle a few Mark Van Bommel tackles and a few play acting from both sides that did frustrate me a little! Juventus have a tendency to whine a little bit and they are starting to look and sound like Inter! Just recently Morrata has come out and complained how referees don't respect The Old Lady, what exactly does he mean? A cynic might interperate that as the so called old Juve coming back, you know, the one that was accused and later punished of match fixing.

One thing that doesn't look like changing any time soon is Giorgio Chiellini. He is a player that you need in your team, but sometimes he can be a little less desirable! Some of his tackles can be labeled as "rash" to say the least! A player who is as "gun ho" as he is will not be given any sympathy when he is the one on the floor! Talking about player going on the floor; Marco Borriello spent an awful amount of time on the ground, he doesn't want to get a reputation as a diver, look what happened to Krasic, after that one incident he was never given the benefit of the doubt!

All in all an exciting game that good have gone either way, especially after Zlatan's disallowed goal, which Milan felt hard done by and I kindof see their point, what could Ibrahimovic really have done apart from severing his arm?

This victory can only lead to more, as the momentum of this win will, hopefully translate to their next league game.

Forza Juventus!!!
