Review of Kick- Ass

A hugely entertaining film that draws on society and how they would rather sit back and watch the world go to hell rather than do something to help. It's funny especially when Kick- Ass takes on his first assignment to rescue the cat and actually helps stop a mugging but off course he also get battered because he has no training or skills, but he has the determination to do this, which is inspiring but obviously s this day and age to do anything you need a continuous supply of money.

Hit Girl was fantastic and I know everyone will feel disturbed because she's only eleven year old, but you know what I say to that SO WHAT! People are okay with children being all sexed up at that age and getting knocked up but when she turns violent then that's crossing the line. I found her to be a refreshing change to all the sluts I see.
Also the thing that bothers me the most is how everyone aspires to be famous and nothing else, Hit Girl And Big Daddy do it for revenge pure an simple.
Also another thing that is made blaringly obvious is the blatant consumerism. He has only been aroung for 1 day but there's already Kick- Ass t- shits and mugs etc, it just makes me sick how everything is turned into another way to make money!

The Internet is the main protagonist, it's how Kick- Ass shot to fame, with everyone with their camera phones filming everything and putting it on the Internet for everyone to see. Not to give anything away but Nick Cage's Batman type outfit was cool, all in all a breath of fresh air and it gets 4 out of 5 starts- rent this now!
