A surprisingly funny film, obviously aimed at kids, but still enjoyable as an adult. Nick Cage was funny as the teacher with the unwilling pupil, what I love about this film is that it gives some love to the geeks, and it is the geek who ends up saving the world with some wacky thing called science ;) Dave was a likable character, and even though he ended up being the hero, he remained the normal geeky kid. Obvious romantic aspect thrown in there for good measure.
All in all, a fully enjoyable and watchable film,and I especially like the nod to fantasia, because the film basically follows the same storyline.
