Commentators and fans alike do not appreciate how hard it must be to be the one between the sticks. To have all that responsibility and burden must take its toll, and not to mention be regarded as a hero and then quickly labeled as the villain of the game after one mistake.
Buffon had a fine game yesterday, up until the goal. Gigi is but one man, his team should help him out... shouldn't they? It was a tame goal, but the team should have reacted, to be fair to them they did but they lacked the cutting edge to finish it, and chance after chance was stopped by the great wall of Milan. So people, I tell you now....LEAVE GIGI ALONE!
