JUVENTUS???

Now I have been a supporter on The Old Lady for over 10 years, but I got to say this is probably the worst season. It isn't just the fact that they're seventh in the league, got knocked out of the Champions League or beaten by Fulham. It's the fact that the directors solution to all this is," sell everyone", is he mad??? If they do this they'll just have to start all over again and I don't think the fans in Italy have the patience to wait that long. What saddens me the most is that they are thinking about selling Diego!!!??

JUVENTUS has had a crappy season, you can't just pin the blame on individuals... but that is the norm in Italy, they blame the ref, the manager or the pitch, anything else to avoid taking any responsibility- Mourinho is the prime example, the smug SOB has managed to win another League title. But back to Juve, well they had problem early on with the managers inability to stick to a formation- leading to confusion amoungst the team, then their is the long list of injuries and change in manager late on. All this has a negative affect, for one thing the same set of players were never playing with each other hence they didn't know what the other player was doing half the time because they haven't had time to get to know each other. The change in manager late on will add to this confusion, the sudden change was always going to be a difficult one. Also new players being brought in and expected to win everything and score in every game will just compound the pressure. In the end thats what was their major downfall, the weight of all the expectations was just too much, and the Italian media just pounces on the players, one week they're heroes the next week they're lepers!!! It's completely unfair. And just to tell the directors if they sell Gigi Buffon they will get more of the same no matter who they buy and how much money they shell out, because a team will always need time to get to know each other and gel, and this season was just about figuring that out.
