Milan V Juventus- Coppa Italia semi- final pt 1

What a game and what a time to score your first goal, make that two, for Juventus!! Martin Caceres scores a brace to help Juve to the final, and maybe this time Juve will complete his move to Turin and not return him to sender like they did in the 09/10 season. Antonio Conte should be very pleased, as he reigns unbeaten and by his reaction to the second goal, you could see how much it meant to him.

It was feared that this game would be dull and that both team would just settle for a draw... and I tell you they were wrong! This was an open and free flowing game with limited interruptions, that is only clumsy tackle a few Mark Van Bommel tackles and a few play acting from both sides that did frustrate me a little! Juventus have a tendency to whine a little bit and they are starting to look and sound like Inter! Just recently Morrata has come out and complained how referees don't respect The Old Lady, what exactly does he mean? A cynic might interperate that as the so called old Juve coming back, you know, the one that was accused and later punished of match fixing.

One thing that doesn't look like changing any time soon is Giorgio Chiellini. He is a player that you need in your team, but sometimes he can be a little less desirable! Some of his tackles can be labeled as "rash" to say the least! A player who is as "gun ho" as he is will not be given any sympathy when he is the one on the floor! Talking about player going on the floor; Marco Borriello spent an awful amount of time on the ground, he doesn't want to get a reputation as a diver, look what happened to Krasic, after that one incident he was never given the benefit of the doubt!

All in all an exciting game that good have gone either way, especially after Zlatan's disallowed goal, which Milan felt hard done by and I kindof see their point, what could Ibrahimovic really have done apart from severing his arm?

This victory can only lead to more, as the momentum of this win will, hopefully translate to their next league game.

Forza Juventus!!!

Government is supposed to serve the needs of its people...

.... Not protect the needs of the corperation's. Big industries should be responsible for themselves, and if they are going bankrupt the government should let them! If an individual is in trouble they get punished and learn from their mistakes, well most of the time! On the other hand big businesses get handouts from the government i.e the taxpayer, and they just go on with their lives and feel free to make the same mistakes, because they will always get help. While the average Joe is forced to deal with increasing food and energy prices and we're subjected to even more taxes.

A friend always replies with, " you get that everywhere" and " historically it is always the case". For one thing, you don't get it everywhere, and even if that's true, that doesn't excuse the fact that it's unethical and just plain WRONG! And for her second point, in the past I'm sure it's happened, but are we not suppose to be moving forward not harking back to the past?! And what just made me chuckle a bit inside was how she said about how Ancient Civilizations didn't leave us anything!! Do you recall the Roman Empire to focus on one, who gave us roads, taught us how to farm and not to forget the beautiful buildings that are still standing after 3000 years, building now don't even last a year before the begin to crumble!
I mean how can this government criticise anyone else and believe that there moralities are true. When has it ever been right to make people choose between energy or food? Believe me it's getting to that point sooner than you think.

What do they think will happen when people get desperate?? They'll steal, so the crime rate will soar because people have no other way of getting thing, and we do live in a society where people are surrounded by advert and celebrities saying that we MUST have these items, and people who have been condition for years to have all these things, what do you think will happen when they realise they can't get the same luxury items they used to get?? Civil disorder, and we know this is a country that looks down its nose on any kind of rebellion, and if anyone dares, that's it they get 5 years in jail for stealing trainers, but the bankers who have stole billions get a slap on the wrist and are still able to go to the South of France for a vacation, while we're told to stay here and help save the economy! Give me a break, they talk about the economy as it should have it's own charity advert!, " give £2 a month so the economy has some food". Answer me this, when the economy was doing well did we get an increase in pay/ benefit did the taxes started to relax...No! So why in the hell should we give a damm about the economy??
And to further explain taxes they aren't just something working people pay, even unemployed people pay taxes on clothes, dvds the trains to name but a few, and what is with the train tickets, they have been going up after every 6 months and the trains are still late, packed, dirty and loud. It is now £12.10 to take the train to London and many people I know commute to work, so what do you think will happen to the economy if they can't?! Our transport system is a joke!

There's something wrong here...( I'm just exercising my freedom of expression)

Why are we so afraid as a society to slow down and question what we're doing, people are so quick to make quips about how Europeans are fundamentally lazy and that's why they are bankrupt, but we work like dogs and are still suffering from austerity...so tell me, who's the real joke? Do we ever question the quality of life we have? NO, because everyone has been tricked into believing this is what life is about, yeah you work at a low paid irrelevant job, eat cheap crap food and then die. That sounds so great, I really want that- in case you didn't get it, I'm being sarcastic!! The rest Of Europe just understands that There's more to life.

You are working for what is basically scraps, it's not even remotely covering your living costs, while you have an elite few with villas in Monaco and their own private jets- do you not understand how wrong this is?!

You are not only working like dogs but you're probably eating the same as he is!! All these fast food outlets are just exploiting the fact that you're poor, do you think Cameron has ever had to eat a Mc Donalds- No because he has the money to get fresh food that come from a massive, not the meat that comes from cows that can barely walk because they've been made so fat that there bones cant support them! You know they do say, you are what you eat- and most of the people I see are so fat that I don't understand how their skeleton can support them.

Also what people don't understand is that we're not exactly doing labour intensive work that require us to eat all that fat to keep us going, you spend most of your time sitting on you arse and stuck in front of a computer.

People here don't know how to enjoy life, they believe that in order to have a good time you must get " wasted", what they don't understand is that they work all week and then blow all their wages in one weekend, all that is doing is insuring that they are always working and are never truly free to enjoy life.

I have a few suggestions for people who want to be free of the Matrix: Watch Food Inc, The Inside job and The Keiser Report.

To be continued... ( I'm sure I'll have plenty of material to reflect upon)

Serie A Sunday.

All the matches were played at the same time on the same day due to the freakish weather, which cause some managers to take issue, Edy Reja most notably had the most to complain as his team lost 3-2 to Genoa. Inter resurgence was short lived as they lost 4-0 to Roma. But the most to gain would have been Juventus and Milan, that is if they were able to score! Milan V Napoli was the tastier of the two fixture, as both teams are rather good in attack, Napoli with the three tenors of Edison Cavani, Lavezzi and Marek Hamisik and Milan with the big Ibrahimovich and Robinho. Yet Milan still couldn't break the Napoli defence and when they did.. let's just say they weren't clinical enough upfront. Milan had 16 shots with only 5 on goal and the big Swede was getting noticeably frustrated with the poor service, saying that Napoli only had 1 shot on goal, so I think the lesson here is; with Thiago Silva, you'll have a hell of a defence!

The game ended with 7 yellow cards and a inevitable sending off. Zlatan let a moment of stupidity get the best of him. in the 64th minute he was sent of after slapping Aronica, he tried to disguise it by using Nocherino as a middle man but he didn't fool the lineman and that was the end of his game and the 3 after this, which means he will miss the clash with Juventus.

Juve remain unbeaten but they didn't beat Siena, that was a game that if they won would have meant some breathing space from the chasing pack. The league table is therefore almost unchanged, with Juve on top separated by one point but with a game in hand. Hopefully we'll have better luck against Parma but Conte has try and figure out- why couldn't they beat Siena?

WACKY WEATHER

It has been so cold that I've forgotten what it feels like to be warm, people don't understand how a change in the weather affects everything from our footy matches ( which have been cancelled) to the quality of food we get, don't forget we import almost everything, so if Spain, Italy or India can't get good crops, we don't get good food. It's a rather selfish way of looking at things but then again, most people are

This is not only distressing to the young and elderly but also to the wildlife. Animals will not know when to migrate or when to hibernate because seasons are all but a thing of the past. I remember when I was in school it used to be warm and sunny from the Easter holidays all the way to September, now we're lucky to get a month, and when we do it's usually just a week of extreme heat! And you would get hordes of people trying to soak up the little sun they got!

People look at the word Global Warming and think we will just get hot weather, sorry to burst your bubble but it doesn't work like that, because of where we are, there will be increased flooding and generally more stormy. I was just thinking about last year and when it snowed and the country shut down. now imagine that happening all the time... Something has to be done about climate change, it's going to affect everyone, so why can't we all work together to try and repair some of the damage we have done.

How in the hell are we the smartest species on the planet??!!
