Goodbye Dybala

After 7 glorious years at Juventus and 2 of which they promoted him to captain.... he's finally going to say goodbye. This particular saga has seemed to go on forever and for the last few transfer window he would always be for sale, it seemed rather baffling that the " geniuses" in charge would want to offload such a talented gem hence his nickname La Joya- the jewel.

Paulo is a tremendously talented player with such speed, dribbling control. creativity and such an intelligent player you would think that Juve who have been suffering from a lack of creativity would try to keep hold of but alas he has been plagued by injuries these past 2 years- which I think says more about the physio than him!

He has shown that when he is fit what an enormous impact he can make with his wonderful goal on the weekend against Salernitana. He had speed, vision and fantastic link up play that I believe The Old Lady will miss once he's gone.

The "little" Argentine won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia and three Supercoppas. He was such a hardworking and unselfish player and that was recognised in the 2019-2020 season when he won the " most valuable player award... but it seems we must say goodbye to La joya and just hope that the money that the Bianconeri save on his wages will be wisely invested and maybe next season they can be competitive in the Champions League... but some how I doubt it!

And I personally think that this kind of behaviour from the management, actively trying to get rid of him is what lead him to finally say enough is enough. Juventus will regret letting him go because I don't believe they have any other players that had his creativity and elegance and not to forget a TREMENDOUS left foot, only time will tell.

You'll be missed!!

And for your own health don't go to the Premier League because injuries were your problem and I believe if you come to England.... you'll be on a stretcher every week!
