Fabio turns 29 today!

Happy Birthday Quagliarella!
At 29 you probably think that he would be nearing the final years of his career, however you would be wrong. With all the latest gizmos and training techniques players are hanging around a lot longer, and believe me when I say, we still have a lot more to see from Quagliarella!
He initially came to Juventus on loan in the 2010/11 season and instantly made an impression by becoming Juve top scorer with 9 goals. However tragedy struck when they Played Parma after the winter break, a serious injury that meant the end of his season and saw Juve fall to seventh in the league. This didn’t stop Juventus from buying him outright and making him a fully fledged Juve player.
Throughout the 2011/12 season he has only managed to make 9 Serie A appearances and scoring just 1 goal, this is in large part due to the new management in Antonio Conte and the style in which he likes to play and least we forget there is no European football, so Conte has the luxury of playing with more players. This has lead to the ever growing rumour that he will leave in the January transfer window with a possible move to Roma.
Roma are looking to replace the likes of Oswaldo, who they lost to injury and Marco Borriello who they offloaded to Juventus. Even though Fabio got sidelined again after sustaining a fractured cheekbone in the 1-0 win at Lecce, I don’t believe he will go as he is contracted to the club until 2014 and he is well known for doing the unexpected, which is a quality they desire the most as evident by the draw against Cagliari, teams are fast realising a way to stop Juve from playing their game. Fabio gives them something unexpected and it would be pure foolishness to send him away.
Quagliarella still has a lot to do in what I predict will be a long and successful career!
