Goodbye 2010...

People will use this time to reflect on what they've achieved and make ridiculous resolutions and targets that no one really follows for more than a week. How quickly the year has passed me has amazed me.

Another year older and wiser to the goings on of the world, and you know what..it leaves me feeling sad, I'm sad for people who think that what the do is in someway changing the world because it's not, and the fact is that people are going backwards and becoming less interested in things that can really make an impact on your life but instead they're more interested in who won X- Factor and who's cheating on who and what celebrity couple is getting a divorce.. it's so trivial!! And the latest distraction that the government has come up with is "the royal wedding"!

I mean do they think that we're so stupid we'll forget that we are being screwed over by our government, with this?? But the sad thing is, that it has. Every magazine I see has got their images plastered over it and there is already a book out!!! I mean it's getting ridiculous, they cut our jobs, our pension and benefits while increasing tax and everything else, they expect us to have a shittier service industry because half the people have got fired but pay more, I mean we can't get a seat on the train already but now they've decided to charge us an arm and a leg..... but no it's okay because there will be a royal wedding!!!! It's preposterous!

I'm not looking forward to 2011, if people thought this year was financially difficulty, it's only going to get worse. Happy New Year everyone.

The compromise....

..... Shows are guilty of this, how many times have your favourite shows fell foul of this. They have had to bow down to outside pressure, they have to be political correct, which often means they are without character or a worthy storyline, this is happening more and more because of one thing and one thing alone... RATINGS.

This would not be so bad if the public were not all a bunch of pansies, I mean why does everything have to end with a pretty bow on it!!! Some of us can actually handle the dark edgy stuff, actually we prefer it. Thee glaringly obvious show that has bowed down to outside pressure is 24. At one point this was a show that sparked controversies, but above all else it made you think. Also it wasn't afraid of going to the dark places, I mean in the first season they killed off Jack's wife, now what show now would have the courage to do this. But as it went on you could see that the heat was getting to them and they turned an edgy drama into a fluff piece. I didn't even watch the last season because it was just so bad, the writing, the character and the acting was simply annoying!!

And they're doing the same to my favourite sarcastic doctor. The finale of season 6 House was all dark and brilliant, what you would expect.... but at the very end where you think he will fall back into old habits, they put him together with Cuddy to give him a happy ending. The only show that I believe has avoided this is Lost. It is both brilliant and thought provoking but above all else it has left us wanting more, how it should be. When a show ends it should leave you with a sense of longing and you should miss it unlike 24, where I was willing it to end.

Someone should have the guts to stand up to these people who continually want to dumb down the public and stop us from thinking!!

Are you really saving?

Sales are simple devises used to trick stupid people into thinking they're saving money when in fact they're spending more. It infuriates me when I think about all the money being spent on useless things, and it's mainly women who get sucked into this illusion that they're actually saving. Why do women feel the need to buy new sets of clothes every couple of months? Not only is it useless but it is also a waste of money!

Fashion is the main culprit, all the magazines and adverts get to them and manipulates them into thinking that without a certain piece of fabric, they're nothing. Now if everyone goes out and buys the " most hip" clothes, all that's going to happen is, everyone will end up looking the same. And when I go out I often find it difficult to tell girls apart, because they all look the same because they all want to stay in touch with fashion. Why would you want this? Isn't it just a bit sad?

But returning to my initial point about the pointlessness of sales, unless you have wanted an item for a while, and then it has slashed its price, you're not actually saving anything. Most people get caught up in the frenzy of sales and buy things they don't even need because they're under the illusion that it will run out......Newsflash, it wont and this is the trick they employ to make you buy more. And shoppers at sales are insane, they push, shove and even take stuff that you're going to buy, and people think football fans are hooligans, they should just go to the sales in London!

Kaka' to Inter Milan....

..... That's' absurd!! And I cannot believe people actually think that's even a possibility, if he does return to Italy, he should go to AC Milan, a team that helped him grow and perfect his skills and not to mention the fans adore him. And also having lost Andrea Pirlo for a month, they need a player with bags of creativity and some who is well adept to playing in Serie A.

What's even more upsetting is hear that Leonardo might go to Inter to replace Benitize in the hotseat. Leo is not only a great coach but he is also a decent human being, and I fear Inter will make him into a jerk, it has a knack for doing that!

I think it is highly unjust that Real Madrid are even thinking about getting rid off him straight after his recovery from a major knee operation- but this is Mourinho and he is former Inter and hence a jerk! I know Real have many players that can do what Kaka' does, one name leaps to the front in Mesut Ozil, but Kaka' is a well established player and surely he deserves more respect!

Who is the best??

It makes me sad to think about it, once a proud footballing nation, now fighting for scraps. Italy are skating on thin ice, Italy have already dropped to 14th in the FiFa World Rankings and they can't afford to drop further. They already look likely to lose a spot in the Champions League to Germany, who on the contrary are doing tremendously better, one can tell from the increasing amount of television coverage they are receiving. No one is denying that Germany are doing fantastically, you only have to recall their World Cup exploits, they have managed to reinvent their football with youth and a dollop of experience.

I only hope Italy will follow suit, because something has to change because according to FiFa, they are worse that England because the English are ranked at 6!!! Now one must wonder how this is, people are often quoted as saying that the Premier League is the best... but let us take out all the foreign talent.... and what you are left with are a bunch of brutes who have no skill what so ever, I mean just look at the national side.

So, I am calling out to the Azzurri to bring back the nations pride and return to the elite, where you truly belong.
