There is something wrong with society...

..... Everyone wants to be on T.V or aspire to be in the tabloids, just the other week I heard to girls talking about their future aspirations...and you know what they were...to become WAGS!!!

Society has lost the plot. It's like feminism didn't even happen!!! And what's worse it's not only the mens fault but women themselves.. what happened to the sisterhood?? Every girl is trying to out do each other or kick the next girl in the mud...It's really sad.

What I see in the world today deeply troubles me. I see girls who can't be over the age of 10, wearing what can only be described as a denim belt and a scarf! But all the fashion magazines say that it looks good. Are women and young girls just so dumb today that they can't tell that they are being manipulated and dragged back down when all their though off is as sex objects. Just this word sex object is enough to make me extreamly angry, I mean to be considered as a thing to own or have, it's demeaning.

What angers me most is when highly educated women can't see through this trap and instead jump into it feet first. Television can give you an accurate display of how lost we have become. You get stuff like: How To look good Naked, Naked Briton, The Hills, American's Next Top Model, Running in Heels etc etc I could go on forever. All these shows are telling everyone how they should look and how the more aggressive and bitchy you are, the more successful you'll be.

I weep for the future of the human race!!!!!

Where have morales gone???

Not to sound like an old fart but have you seen the kids these days??? They're de-sensitised, over sexed and they believe thet should get whatever they want and they don't want to work for it.

Teenage girls are the worst.. have you seen the way they dress??-they're pretty much saying to people- "pleases attack me" and they're so lippy. I don't know what kind of parent will let them out like that. But then they act all surprised when their daugters get attacked- it's absurd!! Kids are being exposed to sex and violence way to early in life, and it's not even if you can get away from it-it's everywhere, they use sex to advertise a bar of chocolate for God's sake! And that's what it come's down to in the end- money. As a society with have become so greedy and we want everything, and not things that you actually need but things that give you a sense that you're better than the other person. What is wrong with people? have we just become so consumer driven and a bunch of conformis, are we just to scared to shake of the shackles of capitalism?!

I fear the fall of Turin...

Juventus have been so lucky, if it wasn't for Buffon, I fear they would be further down the league table. They have managed to stay in 2nd place but if it wasn't for the heroics of Buffon they would be at the bottom half of the table. Their defence is a joke, they don't close down player, they can't defend against set pieces and they have forgotten how to mark people. What really scares me is when I hear rumours that Man U or Bayern Munich want Buffon, I mean obviously everyone wants him but THEY CAN'T HAVE HIM. Don't get me wrong Juventus have some extordinary players like: Del Piero, Camoranesi, Marchisio, Giovenco, Amauri, Diego etc etc but most of them are injured!! And until they come back I fear for the future of Juve.

Birthday blues...

What do you do when you're not just over the hill...but on your way down?
16 days and counting till my 26th, and I'm freaking out!!! I have nothing to show for myself, I have a mediocre degree but no job!!! Most of the people I went to school with are on their third or fourth jobs or are married with kids!! Now the latter would never happen for me because the very notion of it makes me sick to my stomach. I do feel as though my life is speedy away, I mean if I die 2moro, what will I be remembered for? Relax, I'm not suicidal, just contemplating my meaningless existance. I stilll have to see Juventus play footy, I've seen Italy play, that was just amazing!

Patience is a virtue…

… But not always shared among the football community. Everyone is too hungry for a win, it blinds the people to what really matters… how the game is played. But don’t be the one to say it to a group of football fans or the consequences may be dire!
This expectation, that you must win straight away or you’re simply incompetent, is an opinion that is shared by too many and rather unfair. It can also be a hindrance on the performance and can become a heavy burden for the players; to keep winning can take the enjoyment out of the game and make it predictable.

Now if you were watching a thriller and you knew how it was going to end, what would be the point of watching it? You watch a thriller because you want to be surprised by how it turns out and shocked at the end when you finally found out “who did it”, that is how you come to realise that I was a good movie, from the fact that it was full of unexpected surprises. The same could be said about a football match.

This “must win” mentality can actually impede the game and take the thrill away from it which in turn can make the game stagnate because everyone is so afraid about taking a risk, because they’re so afraid that it may not work and it may make them look silly. But in the end everyone has to realise that, it is just a game. Even though there is ton’s of money being thrown into the mix. The moment the players start thinking of it as work, some of the magic disappears.

There is something to be said about the supporters who continually demand victory and are nothing else…BORING! I know it’s nice to win, but sometimes you have to lose to get better. Losing develops character and aides in your learning process. Not only that but when you lose, you learn that there is someone out there better than you and this spurs you on to improve and get better, so one day you can put up a worthy challenge.

As a fan I understand how frustrating and disappointing it can feel when you team is on a losing streak, but then I head on up to cloud nine when they win. You really appreciate winning after you’ve hit rock bottom, trust me I know, I support Juventus! Now they are a team that have been through it all, the highs of winning and the lows of having it all ripped out from under them, and now rebuilding a better team and learning from past mistakes.
