Slave nation?

How have we actually improved?
Just think about it for one moment, we’re unhealthy –in more ways than one!, the gap between the rich and poor are increasing by the second, unemployment seems to only be heading in one direction, and that’s up, the i.q of the population looks to be freefalling  and there is a lot more anger out there, usually directed at anyone who is different. Whether we want to admit it or not we’re living in a “slave society”.

What I mean by this is quite simple; we live only to work and what we get in return for our work is barely enough to live on. Why have we let it get so bad?  People here are guilty of one major thing… arrogance. They believe that’s what’s happening in the rest of Europe can never happen here, what, because this is such a great country! Give me a break!! The city if London is the heartland of most of the corruption.
People are still naïve enough to believe that  this is a democracy. I mean really!! Did the people want the bank to gamble away all our savings and did the people want to give the banks a bailout which they then used to pay themselves huge bonuses? Do the people want to pay extortionate prices for the energy required to heat up their home and when did they ask to pay triple towards student fees? Now why would a democratically elected government still do all this even when the people protest against it, it’s simple really, they are more concerned with the big businesses and bank than they are for you.  And in my humble opinion all of these shouldn’t be dealt like a business, we can’t survive without heating and gas, they’re vital to our way of life and shouldn’t be treated as a business, because let’s face it a business has one objective and that is to make a profit, they don’t give a dam about the people. Also what kind of Government would make it so difficult to have access to higher education?

This is starting to sound an awful lot like fascism to me, a corporation by its very nature is totalitarian, power is top-down and the people below have to just do what they’re told. Is this what we want? Workers have already lost their pension due to the banksters, and many of the benefits have slowly been eroded away, and through the destruction of trade unions, the ir voices have been silenced. Why is all this happening? It’s quite simple really- corporation have infected each area and all they care about is making a profit and reducing the costs and if they have to cut a few hundred jobs or cut back on health and safety, they will. The rate that wages are heading it soon will be slavery pure and simple, they’ll obviously call it something less offensive but that is where we are headed… soon we’ll be the third world.

A country cannot be run like a business, the decision they make affect lives, not mere numbers on a computer screen that you can just erase without a seconds hesitation.

Llorente to Arsenal?

It seem as an awful lot like Arsene Wenger has just realised the benefits of spending a little cash. He was forced to spend some cash as Arsenal had started to become somewhat of a joke, always being the "nearly club". People claimed the played attractive football yet I failed to see it, being able to pass the ball is a general requirement of the game and shouldn't be such a surprise when a team does this. But what I do find hilarious is when the English commentator ( usually from itv) start comparing them to Barcelona!! Just the sheer arrogance of the English commentary is infuriating, and then they act all shocked when the team doesn't live up to all this hype.
Anyway, back to my main point. Mr Wenger has finally loosened the purse strings and surprise surprise that has yielded some results, but this rumour that he has his eyes fixed on Fernando is enraging. Juventus got him on a Bosman from Athletic Bilbao after his contract run out and he didn't renew, Juve were the team that believed in Llorente eventhough he hadn't played for about six months due to some club dispute. Eventhough they knew he would be rusty, they believed that he could do well in Turin. And now that he is doing well after a rocky start, Arsenal are looking at him- the cheek! But thankfully there has been a club statement firmly stating that he is not for sale, hopefully that will put the Frenchmen in his place, after all he has his own giant in Olivier Giroud, maybe he should have some faith in his own players instead of trying to steal others!

Turin 2013

What can be said about such a beautiful and diverse place? Only that I miss it so much that every moment away from it is slowly destroying my soul. When I was there I was surrounded by art and culture and not to mention NATURE! Simple thing like street lamps are obviously made with care and have an athestic beauty that you don't get here because it is not this country's priority to make something that EVERYONE might enjoy!

Torino has an abundance of palaces, but unlike here where they are open only to the privledged few everyone, old and younge alike were enjoying these jewels that were now owned by the city and not private individuals- that might change now due to the massive amount of fraud committed by the banksters! The fact that I am a huge Juventus supporter is also why I had to visit here, and if I left without paying pilgrimige to the stadium... well that would be blasphemy! The stadium was magnificent, not too big just big enough and the design of it was sheer class. The museum was a gem that no true fan/supporter should miss. As this was my 2nd visit to my spiritual home, I did notice one disturbing fact. Like I said before; I adore nature and on the way there I had noticed how there was an ever decreasing amount of snow on the Alps. Global warming perhaps? Well even the idiots over here have to agree that somthing is terrible wrong here, or are you prepared for an increasing amount of storms. Ignore the warning signs at your peril!

The 51st state?

Artificial world The title of this piece is not too far off from reality, just look around you people value things like “Farmville” more than farming. One will perhaps keep you entertained for a few hours but the other will feed you so that you won’t die! And this whole hoopla about “social media”, which is not socializing for one thing you’re not talking to people you are typing on your computer, it could not be more anti social if it tried, for one thing it removes the need to see people, which if I’m not mistaken.. is socializing! It’s closer to snooping on each other than anything else, and the CEO Mark poopyhead is making sure that it is becoming less and less of a private medium between friends and making sure that any “peodo” can find you.

Why is it that people place so much value on the virtual more than the reality? It’s not as though it stops at this, in education there is more emphasis on computing and finance than there is on things like engineering and actually learning skills. Kids are being brainwashed into believing that being in finance or becoming the CEO of a business is a thing to aspire to, maybe someone should tell them how they actually accumulated all that wealth! They did it by screwing people over and exploiting every opportunity to their benefit, if this is the kind of life you want where everyone is out for themselves and having just an ounce of compassion is considered a weakness, then maybe you should move to the States where ass holes like that are worshipped!

The scary thing is, this country is becoming increasingly similar to the States. Already the entertainment sector has become more concerned with the trivial and the content has been boiled down to its simplest form, and not just the entertainment but the news also. The news is meant to inform you and educate you about the goings on around the world, it is not a source of entertainment and shouldn’t be more concerned with having the latest gadget and other gimmicks! The education system is also becoming more like the US, funding is being cut and fees for higher education are shooting though the roof, it’s as though they don’t want the population to have access to education..ummm. and just like the States there is more of an emphasis on frivolous things like Prom, Valentine’s day, Christmas parties and sports and less on thing that really matter like: the sciences, mathematics, philosophy and history. The latest news to come out of education circle is that the children are “less than average”- and that’s putting it lightly! Is it such a shock when the policy makers are looking to the US for inspiration?!

This government is not satisfied with making sure that we don’t think but they have also made sure that many of us won’t be able to move, with a fast food place on every corner and at least 3 on the high street! And does anyone even stop they consider why these fast food chains just happen to be in low income area?! It is so they can exploit your situation for profit, because the “food” they serve is not exactly of any nutritional benefit, most of it probably isn’t meant to be consumed by humans! And only having access to that junk is not exactly healthy and can only be a burden on the NHS, which they are also cutting funding to and it wouldn’t even surprise me if we have to start paying for it! then the transformation will be complete, we’ll become a nation of celebrity obsessed, obese, poverty stricken idiots- we’re almost there!! So, instead of investing in things that matter like health and education, the give more money to the Banksters so that they can continue committing fraud, but of course when the banks do it it’s not called fraud its legal. Someone has to have the courage to tell the people in charge that you can’t run a country like a business; you’re dealing with people’s lives. A mark of a truly developed society should be about the treatment of the people not the corporations.
