Humility, a concept....

....That is lost to the English/ Anglo Saxons, they believe they must be better then everyone else but they don't see what all this selfishness has done to to this " Great Britain". Everyone is in such denial that they can't even see that this country is worse than the third world. Instead of focusing on national infrastructure, schools, hospitals and the future of the entire population, they focused on making themselves obscenely rich while everyone else in left to live in the gutter. The true mark of greatness is having the ability to recognize you've made mistakes and doing what you can to to make sure you don't repeat them.

Maybe instead of pissing away all the profits from the North Sea Oil on making the rich even richer so the rest of the world think we're a prosperous little island, maybe they should have though about what all this spending on frivolous "projects" would do in the long term. We've had at least 3 financial crashes from 1980- the present day, and this current one doesn't seem to be slowing down, how can it slow down when people don't even accept that they made a mistake.

From early childhood I learnt that it's okay to make mistakes as  you first acknowledge it was wrong and that you learn from it. It sure seems that politicians and bankers have never been taught that lesson since they continue to commit massive amounts of fraud and come up with these ponzi scheme like " help to buy", which is just creating another bubble!

Nothing in this country is built to endure the test of time- just take a look at the new builds! They don't believe in getting the small things right like being able to feed or house the population, all they want is the quick result, they don't care at all that this fast track to "prosperity" is built on shaky foundations. The simple explanation and maybe the most obvious is that they long to be like the US. Now what person in their right mind would want to be like that? Most of the population is incarcerated, living in poverty, homeless, illiterate and without any form of health care.

Why not be more like the Scandinavian counties where there is a higher quality of living for all and better infrastructure and a greater respect and appreciation for the environment.
  I am fully aware that they pay higher taxes but they only get taxed once and it's called income tax, we have got income tax, VAT and the cost of tickets( which is basically a tax on the poor) which keep rising each year even though the service is way below standards. There is absolutely nothing worthwhile for the average person that our tax is paying for, the past months have shown us just how poor the infrastructure is- for God's sake they haven't updated it since the Victorian Ages!!!

Continually saying your the best doesn't necessarily mean your the best- just look at the English football team, everyone else has adapted to the different playing style but you refuse to evolve from your brutish ways.

Maybe that's why they haven't won anything significant since 1966? Maybe they should re think their approach and go for a slower, slightly smaller approach to growth. After all size isn't everything!

Totalitarian Britain?

Another case has come out, this time it was Jesselyn Radack a member of a Human Rights advocate group

and former lawyer to NSA contractor Edward Snowden. She was detained and questioned at Heathrow Airport in an obvious attempt to intimidate her. Questions were asked  about where she was going and if she knew Edward Snowden or Bradley/ Chelsea Manning. This is an disturbing trend for the British Government as in August 2013 Davis Miranda, partner of Glenn Greenwald was also held at Heathrow. All this just has me asking the question; why must Britain break laws for the US and also how are we free if we can't even voice our dissent.

Ms Radack is merely an advocate for whistleblowers and Human Rights and Britain seems to be doing everything to eliminate those rights, so I ask again; how are we free? Especially when it seems that they are bring in more " laws" to limit our voices. Jesselyn was put on a list, the Inhibited persons list which was only just invented in March 2012  and grants the TSA agents to refuse the person a boarding pass or allow them into the next area. This list which also comprises of her lawyer that represented Snowden: Jennifer Robinson, so it seems that is you chose to help a person who dares to tell the people how much criminal activities the Government is doing, you'll be subjected to theses intrusive "checks" wherever you go.

As I've said many times before there can be no functional democracy without free speech, which includes the freedom to disagree with the actions of your Government. No wonder no one in this country knows anything when the Government goes around closing every avenue to the truthseekers.

Moronic media!

I may be the only one to notice just how simple the mainstream news has become, it's as if they're worried if they use to many big words they will lose the audience. And that's another sad thing, the fact that people have become so " simple" that they would be lost if the news tried to explain things using adult language!

For a long time I've noticed this " simplification" of the population, the media has a huge chunk of responsibility, by choosing to care more about profits and audience shares they have become less focused on the actual news and instead provide us with " soundbites".

Recently all the local news channels have been focusing on the floods that have ravaged the UK. This is a

newsworthy story there's no denying that but some of the questions that come out of the "reporters" mouth are just so ridiculous. On the BBC they had on a scientist to talk about the climate and they asked him what made him think the extreme weather was due to the jet stream? And  the guest was obviously frustrated by the news team and there lack of knowledge. For over 30 years climate scientist were shouting from the hill tops about climate change and you've only decided to focus on it know because it's arrived at your backyard. Believe me I share his frustration, there has been no seasons for years now, that must have tipped of someone and told them that something was wrong!!

The news media has a responsibility to inform people not distract them, which it has done with great success. But you can't ignore it when your home is under water!! Tell me Mr Cameron, how has this hurt the economy?!! And another very serious issue: why did we have to bring pumps from Holland? why didn't the " great British engineers"have them ready?? Oh yeah that's right, we don't have any left because you keep pushing everyone into finance, like that's worth anything, I guess if we run out of sandbag, we can always use some bankers!!

The media can help by focusing less on celebrity gossip and focusing on things that have real value and can actual make a positive impact on the world.

Stupidity has a name.....

.... And that name is David Cameron. He want us to be the same as America and why??!!! Has anyone

taken a look at what is going on over there; they are the unhealthiest people and poor in every department in education, income inequality and healthcare. I can see why that stupid toff wants to be like that- so he can make MONEY! That's one of the major reasons he wants to leave the EU, because according to him the impede trade and competition. What a bunch of BS! The regulations and so called restrictions on trade are put there so the people don't get screwed over! But he doesn't care about the people, according to his pal Boris Johnson anyone who is poor is just stupid and lazy! This is another thing that frightens me, these people openly insult us but the people will still flock towards them.

The propaganda against the EU has been going on for so long, but the scary thing is that people don't realize it is propaganda, they believe it whole heartily. What they have to question is why does the UK want to leave the EU, and its rather simple, they don't want to follow any rule. If you're in the EU you have to follow strict regulations like: the clean air and water act, you have to answer to the court of human rights and you have to provide correct information to the consumer i.e labeling! Having said all that he's comfortable taking money from the EU, due to the recent storms he was forced to ask the EU for help in regards to disaster funds, so he's okay with taking the money just not following the rules!

And the US doesn't have to follow any of these, and look at their people suffering from bloody diarrhea because of all the poisons they put into their body without even knowing it, and the Fracking which has contaminated most of their water and the air has also been linked to a rise in infertility, and just take a look at how much of the population is behind bars or living on the street!!!

People are so obsessed with get everything cheap, well what do you think will happen if we leave the EU??
The price to holiday in Spain will go up and guess what.... all of the good food comes from Europe. Tomatoes, grapes and oranges are from Spain or Italy which are in Europe!!!!

Someone should tell David Dumb ass that we don't want to be poisoned or put in jail because of something arbitrary- but because he has no one to hold him back he can do whatever he wants, which includes silencing the press and turning any act of dissent into a crime- which will probably mean people like me will be in jail, and that goes double for me because I'm brown.

They are already trying to criminalize protesters and are pushing forward the use of water canons against protesters, how long do you think it will be before they start to use deadly force??

Too little Too late!

The Sheer stupidity of some people astounds me! So now people are starting to believe that Global Warming may actually be a bad thing and just because it has " warming" in it doesn't necessarily mean we are going to get warmer weather. The warming has been happening in the Arctic for some time now and it has been said that it will lead to a rise in sea levels, which will be catastrophic for coastal towns and people who live near rivers- which is everyone!

The warning signs have been there for some time now, you just have to look back the last 5-8 years to notice that something was wrong, for God's sake we haven't had a real summer for a long time now! And two weeks of extreme heat doesn't count. All the warning signs were there- the Tsunami in  Indonesia and than Japan, Hurricane Katrina and Sandy, Torrential rain in China and the resulting mudslides that destroyed thousands of homes and killed and injured hundreds of people, the extreme heatwave in Australia that led to devastating fires. No one pays attention until it happens to them!

Now that the UK is under water everyone is panicking, but the sad thing is that all the warning signs were there, you all just refused to see it, a little like the economic crisis. You could all see the obscene amount of debt that Governments/Corporations were getting us all into yet you all refused to acknowledge it was happening and the sad thing is, there is still a lot of people who would rather live with their heads in the ground than come to terms with how they have FRACKED EVERYTHING UP! And do you really think you'll have enough time to adapt to these changes????

But you can always guarantee that within a month or two people will forget and concentrate on more important things like the Royal baby and Kate's hemline!! And of coarse the Government/ corporations will continue their push for " Fracking", just imagine if the flooding happened in those areas, we would be standing knee deep in toxic water!

David must be out of his mind if he wants to be like them and the people must be insane to let it happen. It will only be good for the corporations! Umm a public figure who cares more about making a quick buck then the needs of the people, sounds a lot like FASCISM!!

The EDL are the biggest bunch of twats and cowards that I have ever heard of, but the bigger idiots are Slough council- why let them march? this is not free speech, it's hate speech and I'm pretty sure that's against the law. They have decided to come all the way to Slough causing major disruptions to the train and the high street had to close on a Saturday!! And they're angry because an Islamic school is going to open in Langley- does this make any sense?!!

The amount this must have cost the council... first the riot police (that were there to protect the EDL!) vans, dogs, horses, helicopters and not to forgot the loss of business to all the stores that had to shut their doors, it must have been ASTRONOMICAL!! And Fiona had said she was just allowing their democratic rights!!! That doesn't cover the kind of hate and blatant lies and propaganda they were going on about. They were demonizing Islam and saying that it is oppressive and backwards, yeah right and what, they're the pinnacle of civility??!! . All these demonstrations show is how uneducated and ignorant these people are, they are moaning about things that could never happen like Sharia Law- no one can just change the law ( except bankers) and any change would be a very long and public process!

They are just a bunch of racist thugs,because there are plenty of Hindu and Sikh schools, why are they not moaning about them? It's simple really, Islam is portrayed in the news as this terrifying and oppressive regime and if you're not careful they're going to steal your women and brainwash your children. And these people are so simple and stupid that they don't know any better! And what really scares me is the fact that there are more idiot than intelligent and rational folks.

The Anti Fascist league should have just ignored them,the EDL are like toddlers if you don't give them any attention they will eventually tire themselves out. But what were the people in the council thinking when they gave them a permit to come to an area that is predominately populated by Indians and Pakistanis?? Common sense has obviously eluded them!
